COLINTON
Colinton is a hamlet in northern Alberta within Athabasca County, named after a town in Scotland. It is located east of the historic Athabasca Landing Trail and comprises Colinton and McNabb's for a combined land area of 2.88 km2 (1.11 sq mi).and a population of 252 people (2006 census).
A picnic shelter was built by local volunteers in 2010. It is one of several projects being completed under the Athabasca Landing Trail Master Plan.
