Bon Accord

BON ACCORD

Bon Accord was established in 1896 by Scottish settlers who named it for the motto of Aberdeen, Scotland, which is translated as "Happy to meet." Attractions in town include the Heritage Rose Garden, the 18 hole Goose Hummock golf course, Pottery by Heather and R & R Delights where Opalescent Glass Art is created.

Pottery by Heather

Experience a working pottery studio surrounded by picturesque gardens just 20 minutes north of Edmonton, Alberta. Witness the transformation of wet clay into unique, finished pieces emerging from the kiln. Browse the shelves filled with durable, beautiful porcelain dishes: place settings, serving dishes, tea sets and more. Find that special mug you just can't live without. Heather's pottery is microwave, oven & dishwasher safe. The studio has ready-to-buy work or custom designed pieces can be ordered.

Bon Accord

Heather creates a diverse Celtic line that is sold at the studio and also at the Calgary and Canmore Highland Games. Commissioned art pieces are also available for presentation pieces or special gifts. Group tours can be arranged and there are two Work of our Hands events held each year.
